BUSY PERSON'S DIRECTED RETREAT

It is a simple idea: over the course of two to four weeks (depending upon your preference), you make a commitment to yourself and to God for special time each day for prayer, reflection, and silence while keeping your ordinary day-to-day schedule. Three or four times during the course of the retreat you will meet with a spiritual director to reflect on your daily practice of prayer and the ways in which you are - or perhaps are not - noticing the presence of God in daily life. This is an excellent opportunity to get a "taste" of how spiritual direction might enrich your journey.

These retreats begin and end with all participants and directors gathered for community prayer and blessing. Typically offered to groups of 8-20 people for two, three, or four weeks, these retreats have been offered at area churches and seminaries (- two locations have held them annually -) since 1994.
