“Everyone everywhere dreams.” ~Dream Wise, by Marchiano, Stewart, and Lee Dreams speak a unique yet universal language in our lives, sometimes inviting, sometimes fantastical, sometimes frightening. They reveal symbolic vitality that has the potential to awaken us to unconscious subcurrents we don’t even know are there and offer healing or illumination for our conscious lives. When a dream shows up in a spiritual direction session, how do we invite our directee to explore it? For that matter, do we even tend to our own dreams with the intention and reverence they deserve?
What are some creative ways to initiate a relationship with these infinitely fascinating nighttime (or nap time!) visitors? Join us on November 14th for an afternoon workshop to begin to peel back the layers of these questions for yourself and those you meet in spiritual care. Bring a journal, a couple of your own dreams that you’ve written out, any favorite art materials, and a heaping dose of curiosity and let’s enter this conversation together.
